Ricky’s 37-Mile Ultra Marathon! Donate Donate HERE This year marks our 25th anniversary, 25 years of providing a safe and supportive place for patients, carers and relatives navigating some of the most challenging times of their lives. From Monica Pierce’s vision of a safe haven for heart patients and their families across the South West, we’ve grown into a welcoming hub for anyone facing medical-related challenges. Over the years, we’ve supported thousands of families, offering comfort, care and support when it’s needed most. As part of this special milestone, we’re celebrating with our annual summer party—this year as a 25th anniversary garden party. And making it even more exciting, the incredible Ricky from RC Coaching will be completing his 37-mile ultramarathon fundraiser, starting in Cornwall and finishing at Hearts Together in Plymouth, as part of the event. 74% of Hearts Together’s guests travel from the South West, 45% of them from Cornwall often at short notice, sometimes alone, always under pressure. Ricky's run covers the same ground. He arrives at the same door. When he crosses the finish line during our celebration on 6th June, he'll have traced — on foot — the journey that defines why this service exists. This fundraiser is incredibly important as it kick-starts our “Sponsor a Counsellor” campaign. The funds raised will go towards our Supporting You service—our in-house team of counsellors who provide both informal and formal support to families and patients when they need it most. Lets help Ricky raise £2,500 to help mark our 25th milestone and kick start our new Appeal! Ricky’s challenge is an amazing show of determination, but it’s about much more than the miles. It’s about raising awareness for Hearts Together and helping us reach even more people who rely on our support during difficult times. Rick Callow This year, we’re proud to support Hearts Together as our chosen charity, raising both awareness and funds in celebration of their incredible 25th year and the life changing work they do. With support from the wider RC Coaching community, this effort is a brilliant example of how fitness can be a force for good, bringing people together to make a real difference. We’re so grateful to have RC Coaching behind us. Their commitment to helping people become stronger, healthier and more confident is matched by their support for our work, especially as we celebrate 25 years of supporting families when they need it most.
