Hearts Together has big plans for the future and the role of Operations Manager and Volunteer Coordinator are key to our success. Our day-to-day operations are extremely busy and we have a number of new projects we are set to start this year, which is very exciting. Ensuring that we provide a safe and welcoming environment for our guests and our team is hugely important and continuous improvement is at our heart. he thought of creating a Hospital Hotel which would support patients receiving treatment at Derriford was the dream Monica Pearce first suggested back in 1993, following her successful campaign for the Cardiac unit to be brought to Derriford in 1994.
Student Volunteer Counsellors

We are looking for student counsellors to join our team alongside our qualified counsellors to help us to provide an informal counselling support service for our guests staying at Hearts Together Hospital Hotel. This service is so important in enabling us to provide much-needed support to those who are often preoccupied with supporting others, or who are dealing with complex or life-changing issues themselves.
