We've launched a Compassionate Café! What are Compassionate Cafés ? Compassionate Cafés were established across Plymouth by St Luke’s as part of their mission to make Plymouth a more Compassionate City. These community-led support groups offer a safe space for individuals experiencing loss, grief, or coping with a life-limiting illness. The Hearts Together team is proud to have completed St Luke’s Compassionate Friends training, allowing us to create a supportive space in the north of the city. Join us at Hearts Together Hospital Hotel for a cup of tea or coffee, share your experiences, or simply find comfort in the presence of others. Where : Hearts Together Hospital Hotel, 7 Blunts Lane, Derriford, Plymouth, PL6 8BE. When : 2:00pm - 4:00pm every Wednesday. Our participating cafés are joining other aspects of this initiative that we are implementing within the community, such as Compassionate Schools and Workplaces, to make death and dying a less taboo subject so that those living with a life limiting illness, experiencing loss or bereavement are well supported and don’t feel isolated or alone" - https://www.stlukes-hospice.org.uk/compassionatecafes/ Learn more about Compassionate City's here Learn more about Compassionate Friends here Find your local Compassionate Cafés here Manage Cookie Preferences
